Rage Against The Machine return to their hometown of Los Angeles for an uncompromising, incendiary set in Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium, the final dates of their Battle of Los Angeles tour and the band's last shows until their 2007 reunion. I didn't know that it was a different sound mix than the one on the cd. Can you say OUCH for the cd mix? What happened? I bought the DVD recently and I'm holding onto it. The concert is awesome and I am rocking to it right now. I don't have a surround speaker system but my buddy does and I could trip within the mix when I'm over there.

While Rage Against the Machine's albums are intense listening experiences, its concerts were even more powerful, with the band's relentless rhythms and Zack de la Rocha's agitprop raps and chants echoed by audiences that slam-danced and shouted along. This was as true of Rage's final show, at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles on September 13, 2000, as it had been during the previous eight years of the group's existence. And that power is captured here on a 75-minute video of the show, plus an additional eight minutes of "bonus concert performances".
Sound - 9 From the beginning, Rage Against The Machine have come up with new ways to make noise. It covers RATM's final performance in 2000 at the Grand Olympic Auditorium. In the studio they play around with strange effects to make sounds that give they're records an extra dimension. These sounds are carried over perfectly in live performances in general, and this DVD is no exception. The DVD is basicly the performance, nothing more although nothing more is needed. It also includes bonus performances of "People Of The Sun" and "Know Your Enemy"
